Import didactic templates

Didactic templates - Introduction

So-called "didactic templates" can be created and managed in ILIAS.

The functionality is very limited on the user interface, i.e. there is no editing mode for creating and editing these templates, but they have to be described in the form of XML files and then imported into the system. an example of a didactic template is "Authoring Area", which can be applied to categories when they are created. You will then find a "Type" selection below the fields for title and description.

Note: A standard installation of ILIAS does not contain any such templates, but you can access a corresponding library at www.ilias.de, which is constantly being expanded by members of the community. You can also create templates yourself with the help of a description and make them available to others.
